Lake Como<\/b> (or Lario), located about 80 kilometres from Milan between the provinces of Como and Lecco, is the third largest Italian lake, after Lake Garda and Lake Maggiore, and the deepest one (410 metres).<\/p>\n

The lake, one of the most important in Lombardy, with its characteristic reversed Y shape, is divided into three branches: Como to the southwest, Lecco to the southeast and Colico to the north.
\nFrom its shores you can enjoy many fascinating landscapes: picturesque villages, splendid villas and lush gardens await visitors in search of relaxation and culture in contact with nature. The magnificent landscape of the Lario<\/b> has enchanted artists and travellers over the centuries: from the French writer Flaubert to the musicians Gioacchino Rossini and Giuseppe Verdi, who found inspiration here for their famous operas.
\nNowadays, the lake continues to attract celebrities from the international jet-set who appreciate the beauty of the lake and the picturesque locations around it.<\/p>\n
