Villa Toeplitz stands imposingly on a hill at the foot of Sacro Monte, in a dominant position. The park covers an area of about four hectares and is one of the most beautiful parks in Italy.
There are many buildings throughout the park: the greenhouses, stable, chapel, bowling green, clay tennis court, viewing point, swimming pool and, of course, the Villa itself.
Inside the park is the Castiglioni Museum, born from the donation of thousands of artefacts made to the municipality of Varese by the Angelo and Alfredo Castiglioni brothers. The Castiglioni brothers in fact conducted ethnological and archaeological research and documentation missions mainly in Africa.
